There are eight article types that you can filter whenever performing a search or listing articles of a particular category.
These are Views, Reviews, Interviews, Educational, Products, Services, Charities and Unknown. Please refer to the Articles page for a description of each article type.
Whenever you have any of the filter type checkboxes checked in the ‘Type filter’ panel means that any search you perform or any category you choose to list will be affected by the selection in the ‘Type filter’.
So if you searched for articles on ‘cooking’ and you had checked ‘Educational’ in the Type filter. Your search would result in a list of cooking articles that were educational such as ‘How to bake a cake’ or ‘My Lasagna recipe’ for example.
If you were in the Categories page and selected the category on ‘Entertainers & Public Figures’ and had ‘Interviews’ checked in the Type filter. Your result would be a list of articles of interviews with Entertainers & Public Figures. This also applies when using the ‘Quick Select’ dropdown in the Categories panel.
You must not have any article types checked if you would like to perform a full search or category listing. You can clear all checkboxes by manually unchecking all the checkboxes selected or by pressing the ‘Reset’ button.
