Top Handle
The top handle on top of the backpack is a nice large size, but Manfrotto’s decision to place the upper part of the handle very close to the main zipper is a major concern.
It looks as though most of the stress is focused on the upper handle area due to the angle and position of the top handle.
This can lead to the stitching or zipper deteriorating, or the zipper opening after many uses. Please note that once this bag is filled, it is not light, so manufacturers should ensure that they are designing a backpack to withstand the weight otherwise, they should inform users of the bag’s weight capacity.
You could alternatively carry the bag with your thumb on the hanging strap but this is inconvenient and the stitching in this area is already poor in the copy I received.
